A diving spot where you can encounter Yonaguni’s attraction—the hammerhead shark. At its highest, several hundred hammerhead sharks gather and swim among rocks lined up vertically like buildings 35 meters under water. Apart from hammerhead sharks, you can also see other such fish as swordfish, and dogtooth tuna.
Orange sea anemone brilliantly grow on top of a 15-meter rack where several one band anemonefish live as though it were their fortress. In the winter, giant cuttlefish come to lay eggs. There are also several types of gobies such as the spotted prawn-goby, and red-banded prawn-goby.
