Point:
Antoni Gaudi
Highlights:
The rocky surface on the coast has two ponds, below which lead to the open sea. Passing through a giant tunnel from the outer sea would lead you to the first pond, which is a large open space near the sea, and through which, you can pass through to the second pond. On the pond surface is brackish water due to rainfall, creating a chemocline that presents a magical view. This is an emblematic and popular diving site that reminds one of a microcosm during surfacing.

Cross Hole
Highlights:
Diving into the approximately 99-square-meter large space, into the dim, complex underseascape opens you to a mysterious pit where light and shadow magically interweave. The demon-like silhouette of the pit gave this place its name.

Point:
W Arch
Highlights:
Due to crustal movements that occured a long time ago, the coral reefs at 5 meters under water cracked, forming large crevasses allowing for the enjoyment of underseascape diving among two arches, large and small. The smaller arch is popular among female divers due to its heart-shaped silhouette.

Point:
Shichugama
Highlights:
One of Kumejima’s most prominent underseascape, Shichugama derived its name from the Okinawan dialect to mean “sea chubs in a hole.” The intricate underseascape makes it a charming diving site. The L-shaped cave that goes from 5 to 30 meters deep and returns from 28 to 6 meters is the distinctive point of this area. Several fish such as the silver sweeper, duskyfinned bullseye, and Japanese spiny lobster can be spotted in this area.

Point:
Turtle Paradise
Highlights:
This is a highly accessible drop-off diving site located just five minutes from the port. The most amazing point is that you can almost be guaranteed to encounter turtles. At its highest, you will be able to see tens of turtles resting and swimming around. It is also possible to go near them for pictures. This site makes diving easy even with the strong northern wind making it a precious location for diving in the winter.
